Coming to you today with a little, itty-bitty DIY that I've been wanting to try since I pinned it about a year ago. I just recently got some office wall space that really needs some sprucing up so I've decided to do just that! Join me along this DIY where I teach you how to make this lovely Chevron Canvas Art.!.

| I haven't decided which way I want the Chevron to go, what do you think??? |
This is what you'll need:
1. Mod Podge
2. Canvas- I forgot what size mine was but you can decide which size you like best.
3. Glitter- I choose Fine silver glitter but again, you choose how grainy & what color you'd like.
4.Painters tape
5.Sponge tip paint brush (not pictured here but can be seen in the 2nd step)- A regular paint brush will work as well.
First,
To me this was the hardest part only because I am a perfectionist.
I cut small pieces of the painters tape and applied it to the canvas in a chevron form. Mind you, I didn't get this right on the first go. I liked using the painters tape vs the packing tape because it was much more easier to remove and handle.
Tip: As you place the tape, don't fold over the edges. When it came time to remove the tape it was hard to maneuver because the tape had gotten stuck to the back of the canvas.
Second:
Apply a thin layer of Mod Podge to the bare canvas. Just to make sure the glue wouldn't dry, I would apply the glue and add glitter a little bit at a time. If possible try to limit the amount of glitter you add.

Third;
Immediately after you get off as much glitter as you can, remove the tape slowly. Do N O T let the glue dry! Pull slowly and carefully and the lines should look something like mine.

| Voila! |
After the glue is dry to the touch (15-20 minutes) add another thin layer of the glue on T O P of the glitter. This will ensure that their is no fallout and all the lovely glitter magic stays put!
On my canvas I decided to go with my initials NB & painted it my favorite color. The letters were an unfinished wood color before. After I let them dry they were a Matte teal so I decided to add the glue on top to give them a glossy look.
Easy Clothespins Decoration
So this is the inspiration behind what I'd like my wall to look like. I'm kind of tired of the old cork board look and figured I can hang papers and pictures on there. Something different, easy and cute. The main feel of the office is chevron, teal, silver and white. I bought plastic white string and command hooks to add them to the wall.
The clothespins were really just to give the wall the extra U M P H it needed! It was super easy and it took me about one episode of Lost to get all 15 of them done. I didn't get the average size clothespin, but the one a size smaller. To compare, these were the size of my thumb. Again, you can choose any that you'd like.
What to do:
1. Apply a thin layer of the Mod Podge on to one side of the pin.
2. Dip the pin, glue side down, into the glitter. I decided that I had enough of the fine glitter from the previous DIY so I put a little into a bowl and used that for dipping.
3. When the glue and glitter combo feel dry to the touch, add a thin layer of the Mod Podge to the glitter to lock in all the sparkles.
4. Let dry & you're done!!
Optional:
I had some rhinestones and E6000 industrial glue from another project I did laying around so I added one silver rhinestone to the tip of the clothespin. You can add any color you want. I wanted to add blue rhinestones to them but found that I didn't have enough. Either way, they came out cute <3
